Meet Wattlebird
See the club day come together.
Wattlebird is a fictional community club showing how members can catch up, book resources, complete learning and record their contribution without searching across inboxes, spreadsheets and private groups.

The everyday work of a club
Finally connected.
One member home can carry the routine work that is currently scattered across email chains, forms, folders and private groups.
Resource bookings
Make bookings without another email chain.
Handle rooms, accommodation, vehicles and equipment with the right eligibility, conflict checks and approvals built into the journey.
Service records & approvals
Give contribution a proper record.
Members log volunteering, training, welfare and committee work. Officers review evidence and export approved entries when needed.
Learning & member updates
Put club know-how where members can finish it.
Keep private news, inductions, completion history and event details inside the portal, ready to find long after the email was sent.
Find the right person by role, skill or location.
Your colours, your name and a club-specific address.
Take approved records out when another system needs them.
Configured around the hand-offs your committee already uses.
Configured, not imposed
Your rules belong in the product.
LocalService is configured around the approvals, eligibility and hand-offs your committee already uses. Start with one high-friction workflow, prove it with a small group, then expand only where it helps.
- Your branding and club-specific address
- Roles that reflect real responsibilities
- Existing member and spreadsheet data brought across carefully
- Practical exports when work needs to leave the portal
A guided pilot
Start with the workflow everyone keeps chasing.
Show us the current form, spreadsheet or email chain. We shape a focused portal around it, then test the result with a small group.
-
01
Map it
Walk through the member journey and the forms, spreadsheets and email chains behind it.

-
03
Pilot it
Test with sample data, gather member feedback and agree the production-readiness checklist.

Careful by design
Member data deserves a proper path to production.
Every pilot begins with sample data. Live member information is introduced only after access, privacy, recovery and operational controls are agreed.

- 02 Separate club environments and role permissions
- 03 Approval history and administrator audit records
- 04 Agreed hosting, backup and recovery controls
- 05 Privacy, recovery and incident-response terms
Common questions
Practical answers before a pilot begins.
Still wondering whether LocalService fits your club? Start here.
Does LocalService replace our public website?
No. It gives members a useful, club-branded destination after they leave your public website.
Can it match our club branding?
Yes. Your pilot can use your logo, colours, typography and a club-specific LocalService address.
Can it handle unusual booking rules?
That is a core part of the pilot. We can model eligibility, approvals, competing requests, ballots, payment status and operational hand-offs.
Can you migrate our existing spreadsheets?
Yes. Scoped migration can include member imports, cleanup and committee onboarding.
Can we use real member data immediately?
Not in the prototype. Live data should only be introduced after the production privacy and security controls are agreed and implemented.
Is LocalService an incident-management system?
No. LocalService is for member engagement and everyday club operations. Specialist systems should continue to handle live incidents and mission-critical work.
Bring us one workflow
What is wearing out your committee?
We’ll map it, show you how it could work in a branded portal, and agree whether a focused pilot makes sense.
